Chokmah as a Hebrew word
Proverbs 3:19: Proverbs says the earth was founded by wisdom and the heavens established by understanding. Chokmah and Binah operate as a verbal pair in the poem before later diagrams place them on opposite pillars.
SEFER YETZIRAH LAYER
The 2th count is not yet Chokmah
A common Sefer Yetzirah sequence describes the second item as spirit from spirit and then moves toward water, fire, and the six directions. It never labels number two Chokmah. The book’s opening does speak of thirty-two wondrous paths of wisdom, but that phrase is not a caption for one sphere.

What Kircher makes visible
Kircher sets Cochma on the upper right and adds the Latin Summa Sapientia. Its circle faces Binah across an upper horizontal channel and descends toward Chesed and Tiphereth. The spatial right/left opposition is a diagrammatic development beyond the paired nouns in Proverbs.

Golden Dawn and 777 tables align row 2 with the zodiac, Yah, Ratziel, the Wheels, and four Twos. The row makes Chokmah a category for dynamic beginnings across several columns; it does not turn those entries into translations of one another.

How the shorthand was assembled
Modern Hermetic summaries call Chokmah force, impulse, or the father principle. The language describes how the node functions inside a polarity with Binah; it is not the ordinary lexical meaning of chokmah in every Hebrew sentence.
