What can a dream about a door mean?

Start with the door as part of a place. Was it the entrance to a home, a bedroom, a classroom, a gate outside, or a doorway where none should be? Then follow the action: did you open it, find it locked, try to keep it shut, or wait for someone on the other side? An open door can feel welcoming when you choose to enter and unsettling when it leaves your room exposed. A locked door can protect you or prevent you from reaching someone. Notice what you expected beyond it and whether the dream showed you. The meaning comes from this particular threshold, your reason for crossing it, and what happened next.

Opening a door or finding one already open

When you opened the door, were you entering a place, leaving one, or inviting somebody in?
