Two different birth signs
Janma Rashi is the sidereal zodiac sign of the Moon at birth. Janma Lagna is the sidereal sign crossing the eastern horizon at the birth time and place. The first depends mainly on a birth instant; the second also depends on geographic coordinates and can change much faster. They often differ.
This lookup uses an approximate Lahiri ayanamsha. It is useful for a quick reference, but a result within a small fraction of a sign boundary should be checked against a specialist ephemeris and a reliable birth record.
