What a harmonic chart shows

A harmonic chart is a mathematical restatement of natal zodiac longitudes. For harmonic Hn, multiply every longitude measured from 0° Aries by n, then reduce the result modulo 360°. It can bring a family of natal separations together as conjunctions in the derived wheel. For example, a natal square and opposition collapse to conjunctions in H4; trines and sextiles do so in H6.

The nine-panel view shows H2 through H10. These are derived coordinates, not a second sky or a forecast. This tool draws the transformed planets and, when birth time and place are known, the transformed Ascendant and Midheaven. It does not assign houses to the harmonic wheel or interpret a conjunction as proof of an event. Birth-time uncertainty is especially important at higher harmonic numbers.

A derived pairing is a mathematical relation whose meaning depends on the interpretive method you choose.

Method and limits

Choose a harmonic number

Enter a birth date, local time, historical UTC offset, and coordinates, then choose a harmonic from one through thirty-six. H1 repeats the source zodiac longitudes. Higher harmonics fold different natal angular separations together: for example, a natal square is a conjunction in H4 after multiplication. The result includes a derived wheel, a source-versus-harmonic position table, and any planet pairs within a stated three-degree conjunction orb.

Compare H2 through H10

The nine-panel sheet applies the same birth data to H2, H3, and onward through H10. Select a panel to bring its full positions into view. Each mini-wheel names close conjunctions so you can compare the patterns without claiming that a particular aspect determines a life event. These positions are transformed coordinates, not a new ephemeris or the physical sky at a later time.

Birth-time and house limits

A known time and place allow the natal Ascendant and Midheaven to be transformed. This tool does not assign houses to harmonic wheels. With birth time unknown, it uses the natal engine’s noon sample but omits the Moon and angles because their uncertainty grows as the harmonic number increases. Confirm the historical civil UTC offset before comparing subtle differences, particularly near sign boundaries.
