The central pattern
A Sun–Moon conjunction gathers conscious direction and instinctive response into one neighborhood of the chart. There can be a strong sense that what feels right also matters to identity. That unity may help a person commit wholeheartedly, yet it can make a passing mood seem like a verdict on the entire self. The conjunction describes closeness of positions, not a guarantee of inner harmony.
How it may show up
In ordinary decisions, preference and intention may arrive together. Notice whether an immediate reaction is being treated as a settled aim. Keeping a little distance between the feeling of the moment and a long-term choice can make the conjunction more flexible. The sign and house show where this close alignment is most visible, and other aspects may add perspective or disagreement.

Check the angular distance and the Moon phase rather than assuming every conjunction is identical. A separating conjunction, a very close one, and a conjunction across a sign boundary invite different emphases. The Sun and Moon houses, their rulers, and contacts from Saturn or Venus may alter the story. If birth time is uncertain, verify the Moon degree and house before using them.

The conjunct is an ideal angle of 0°. A chart's printed aspect may be several degrees from exact; this difference is its orb. There is no single universal orb cutoff. Compare the actual separation, sign and house positions, applying or separating motion, and the rest of the aspect pattern before prioritizing this interpretation.
