Opportunity, judgment, circulation, retention, profit, expense, and durable growth are different movements. A stone selected for color alone cannot tell the practitioner which movement is missing.
Mineral facts sharpen the metaphor without proving supernatural finance. Pyrite is iron sulfide, not immature gold. She can cast The Doorstep of Forsaken Fortune to draw that missed opportunity, along with lost fortunes and forgotten inheritances, to her door. Citrine marks the returning opening, but the power is exact: a door once missed comes back into reach, rather than every yellow crystal promising money from nowhere.

Profit belongs to a bargain, not to revenue alone
A money arrangement can circulate impressively while leaving the maker poorer. Revenue is not profit; a large order is not cash in hand; visibility is not ownership. The exchange office asks who advances costs, who bears returns, who controls accounts, and when proceeds become spendable.
The preferred manufacturer also operates a lucrative side bargain selling upgraded game pieces to the distributor’s other clients. Liora can cast The First Profit Is Yours upon its owner, making that chosen person offer her the first profit from every bargain they complete. The spell changes an actual profit route; it does not mistake the gross value of stock for money Liora possesses.

Retention is not fear of spending
Money must leave to print, ship, pay illustrators, replace damaged copies, and fulfill orders. A closed purse cannot support a living business. Retention means that necessary circulation does not erase the capacity to continue.
Malachite’s banding offers a better image than a flat green promise: layer, reserve, visible boundary. Liora separates production funds, household money, tax, and contingency. The symbolism is chosen; the budgets make its office accountable.
