A third-party removal spell therefore begins with diagnosis. Is the third party a persistent pursuer, a mutually chosen lover, an enchanted influence, a confidant who has acquired private authority, or a symbol onto which an unhappy couple projects its own fracture? Each structure asks a different magical verb.
Banishment can remove interference. It cannot manufacture a center that the original relationship no longer has.

The established partners may share history, promises, housing, work, or children. The third party may carry novelty, secrecy, rescue, admiration, leverage, or genuine new love. Uncertainty is not an empty space for the caster to fill
A divided heart can keep all three people suspended. The established partner waits for return, the third party waits for selection, and the person between them mistakes delayed decision for kindness. Removal performed against this structure may create distance without ending comparison.

Imani accepts the access and is genuinely attracted to Luca. Sora calls him an intruder, yet the archive’s funding structure gives him a key, a reason to remain after hours, and influence over Imani’s future appointment. The third seat is romantic, professional, and architectural at once.

Banishment needs an address narrower than a life
Luca’s route into the triangle includes gifts, private keys, unsupervised evening access, and authority over a coveted appointment. None requires destroying his career, health, friendships, or home. The operative route can be closed through documented contact and divided institutional authority.
This is the distinction between removal and annihilation. Luca can continue representing the foundation without occupying an intimate chamber in Imani’s work. He can communicate through the board without using rare gifts as emotional currency. The extra seat becomes unavailable even though the person remains visible.
A precise exit also prevents the original couple from using banishment to avoid institutional reform. If another donor liaison could recreate the same secrecy tomorrow, Luca was never the only third party.
05 / RESTORE THE CENTER
An empty third seat does not repair the original pair
Third-party removal is often judged by disappearance: no more messages, meetings, gifts, or sightings. Those are signs that access changed. They do not establish that trust, affection, or desire has returned to the original relationship.
Imani’s heart is explicitly divided between Luca and Sora. The Divided Heart Chooses You makes someone choose you when their heart is divided between two people. Sora can cast that choice at the actual triangle, while recognizing that being chosen creates a new obligation to discuss what their partnership will become.
A restored center must contain more than victory over a rival. It needs a relation that can survive after comparison loses its third point. Otherwise the couple will keep invoking Luca’s absence to avoid the emptiness between them.
06 / EVIDENCE OF REMOVAL
Look for a closed route, not a theatrical disappearance
A dramatic quarrel can intensify a triangle. A rival’s sudden silence can leave fantasy untouched. Stronger evidence appears in altered structure: private keys returned, gifts no longer carrying access, messages routed openly, meetings no longer arranged as exceptions, and attention no longer feeding on concealment.
Emotional evidence matters too. Imani can think of Luca without rehearsing a possible future. Sora can discuss their relationship without making Luca the answer to every dissatisfaction. The couple can name whether they choose each other without requiring a villain to make that choice feel righteous.
Removal is complete when the third position no longer organizes the pair. Luca need not be erased from the city for the extra seat to disappear.

Closure returns scale to the situation. Funding contact remains professional. Romantic gifts and private inspections end. Imani’s choice is judged through her present actions rather than endless confession. Sora’s trust is neither demanded instantly nor replaced by permanent investigation.
A third-party removal spell succeeds most cleanly when the extra route closes, attention becomes accountable, and the original relationship must answer for itself. The intruder is unseated. The center is no longer excused from speaking.
