What this calculator returns
The Yogini system has eight named periods lasting one through eight nominal years. Together they make a 36-year cycle. This page prints three cycles, spanning 108 nominal years from the beginning of the period active at birth, and clips the first visible row to the birth instant.
The opening period is found from the numbered birth nakshatra. The Moon’s untraversed fraction of that 13°20′ sector supplies the balance remaining at birth. Why two calculators can disagree
This tool uses an approximate Lahiri ayanamsha, an apparent geocentric Moon from Astronomy Engine, 365.2425 days per nominal year, and a fixed UTC offset. A different Moon ephemeris, ayanamsha, year length, rounding rule, or birth time can shift every printed boundary. A close nakshatra edge receives an explicit notice.
What the dates do and do not say
The rows show arithmetic intervals in a traditional astrological model. They do not prove that the named period causes an event. Interpretation in Jyotish normally considers the period ruler in the whole birth chart; this calculator deliberately stops at transparent date calculation.
