A Sade Sati interval is a transit rule based on Saturn’s sign relative to the birth Moon’s sign. This page lists astronomical sign changes under one stated sidereal convention; it does not interpret events.

Set the timeline

Use the Moon rāśi from a sidereal birth chart, not a Sun sign. If you do not know it, find your Janma Rashi using a recorded birth time. The displayed range starts January 1 of the selected year and runs for 35 years.

Why can one phase appear more than once?

Saturn sometimes crosses a sidereal sign boundary, reverses its apparent geocentric direction, and crosses the boundary again. The table shows each continuous sign interval rather than smoothing these dates into one uninterrupted “seven and a half years.” The first and last rows may be cut off by the chosen 35-year window.

All ingress timestamps are UTC. Birth location and time zone are unnecessary once the natal Moon sign is supplied, but birth details and ayanamsa matter when determining that sign. Read the rule and method →
