A house overlay asks a narrower question than an aspect comparison. Person A’s planet is located in Person B’s house grid, then the calculation is reversed. The same two birth records can give different house numbers in each direction.
What the table means
Each row gives the tropical degree for a planet and a house number in the other person's chart. “A in B’s house” reads Person A’s planet against Person B’s Ascendant and selected house frame. “B in A’s house” reverses the roles. The columns are not interchangeable. The place and historical UTC offset matter because the receiving person's Ascendant changes with the local sky.
Whole Sign starts house one at the beginning of the rising sign. Equal House starts house one at the exact Ascendant degree and divides the zodiac into twelve 30° sectors.
