Solar Arc Aspect Calendar

Choose the Sun’s measured true arc or the linear mean/Naibod key, then find exact directed-planet contacts across a life interval. Every row shows the life date, directed arc, and the selected-orb window.

Birth moment, method, and age interval

Use the recorded local clock time and historical UTC offset that applied at birth. The calculator directs natal planets; it does not use a later physical sky.

The selected life interval must end by age 120 and remain inside the shared 1800–2100 target-date range. Planetary contacts only; directed angles and houses are not calculated here.

What the calendar directs

A solar arc moves every natal planet by one common zodiac arc. Under the true option, that arc is the distance traveled by the secondary progressed Sun. Under the mean/Naibod option, age is multiplied by 0.98564733°. The calculator then measures each directed Sun-through-Pluto longitude against every natal Sun-through-Pluto longitude.

Conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions are solved at their exact full-circle branches. The table gives the life date and arc at the center of each contact. Applying begins when the distance first equals the chosen orb; separating ends when it reaches that orb on the other side.

Why the two methods have separate results

The true Sun changes speed through the year, so its arc does not advance by exactly the same amount in every life year. The Naibod option is deliberately linear. Switching methods recalculates every date; it does not relabel one shared calendar. The companion method guide works through the equations and a measured example.

How phase labels are protected

Both supported arcs must increase across the selected interval. The Naibod key is positive by definition. For the true method, the calculator samples the unrounded progressed-Sun arc at one-hour symbolic steps and stops if it detects a stall or reversal. Each exact hit receives its own lower-orb, exact, and upper-orb solution. It never assigns several hits one shared in-orb span.

Choose the useful export

The SVG arranges exact contacts in ten directed-planet lanes across life age. The CSV is the complete date record, including the method, directed arc, applying and separating ages, life dates, orb, and whether an interval edge clipped a boundary.

Calculation basis

The local calculation uses the site’s verified true and mean solar-arc methods. Apparent geocentric tropical Sun positions come from Astronomy Engine 2.1.19. The life clock uses a 365.24219-day tropical year, and the mean option uses the stated Naibod key of 0.98564733° per year. Birth details remain in this browser.
