Planets and luminaries

All times are UTC. Positions are apparent geocentric tropical longitudes. The apparent direction describes motion against the zodiac seen from Earth.

How to read the calendar

An ingress occurs when a body crosses a 30° sign boundary. A station occurs when its apparent zodiac longitude changes direction. A planet can cross the same boundary more than once while retrograde.

The times are rounded to the nearest minute. Six-hour sampling detects crossings and stations within the selected period; very brief reversals or events at the exact end boundary are outside this calendar. This is an astronomical reference, not a personal forecast.

Moon sign ingresses also mark the end of each interval in the void-of-course Moon calendar.

Method and limits

What an ingress means

The tropical zodiac divides the ecliptic into twelve 30° signs. An ingress is the moment an apparent geocentric longitude crosses one of those boundaries. During a retrograde loop, a planet may cross the same boundary more than once.

Retrograde and direct stations

As Earth and the other planets move, a planet can appear to slow, reverse, and later resume its usual zodiac direction. A station is the turning point of that apparent longitude. It does not mean the planet has reversed its physical orbit. The Sun and Moon are omitted from station detection because their apparent geocentric zodiac motion does not reverse.

Dates, precision, and download

Select 7, 30, or 90 days within 1800–2100 and choose which bodies to scan. The tool checks six-hour intervals, numerically refines crossings, and reports minute-rounded UTC results. The CSV preserves event times and labels. A boundary at the exact end of the period belongs to the following range.

For dates beyond the displayed range, start a new search. The CSV file contains the same UTC events shown above.

For the interval between a sign’s final exact major lunar aspect and its next ingress, use the separate void-of-course Moon calculator or browse its monthly UTC tables. That tool states its body and aspect choices explicitly.
