What the calendar searches
Each selected life age becomes a symbolic date shortly after birth: one tropical life year advances the ephemeris by one day. The calculator then compares all ten progressed planetary longitudes with the ten natal planetary longitudes. It solves conjunctions at 0°, sextiles at 60°, squares at 90°, trines at 120°, and oppositions at 180°.
The exact table distinguishes two dates. The life date is when the contact falls in ordinary time. The symbolic date is the post-birth sky used to calculate the progression. The applying and separating table shows when each contact enters the chosen orb, reaches exactness, and leaves the orb.
How to read the 45° fold
The graph reduces each progressed longitude modulo 45°. That compact dial makes repeated 45° families easy to follow and keeps ten curves legible across decades. Exact markers are calculated in the full 360° circle. A square or opposition can align naturally under this fold. A sextile or trine does not, so its marker gives the event date without claiming that two folded lines intersect.
Use the CSV when dates matter more than the compressed picture. It preserves every exact contact and the life and symbolic dates at both orb boundaries. The method guide works through the time conversion, aspect branches, retrograde repeats, and boundary cases.
Calculation source
The local browser calculation uses Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 for apparent geocentric positions. The site’s existing progression engine supplies the tropical-year life clock and circular-angle operations. No birth details leave the browser.
