A career chart is most useful when it separates public visibility from daily work and actual skill. This report calculates those layers independently before combining them.
Two different career markers
The Midheaven is an exact meridian point. The tenth house is a full chart region whose cusp depends on the selected house system. In Whole Sign houses the Midheaven can fall outside the tenth house, so the result shows both rather than treating them as synonyms. The sign on the tenth-house cusp leads to a traditional ruler, whose own sign and house add another route into vocation.
Work style needs evidence
Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn describe different symbolic functions: information, effort, expansion, and standards. A useful reading asks how those processes appear in a real week. Job history, training, access, health, caregiving, discrimination, and the labor market remain facts outside the chart. No placement names one inevitable profession.
When the birth hour is missing
A date-only result can calculate many planetary signs, but it cannot responsibly assign the Midheaven, Ascendant, or houses. The unknown-time option withholds those sections, treats the remaining positions as a local-noon sample, and checks whether key planets change signs during that date.
Calculation method and limits
The calculator uses apparent geocentric tropical positions from the site’s local chart engine. Major aspects use conjunction, sextile, square, trine, and opposition with a maximum 6° orb. Houses can be Whole Sign, Equal House, Porphyry, or Placidus; a Placidus calculation that is unavailable at the latitude is visibly replaced by the engine’s Porphyry fallback.
The report displays the chart framework used for the result. Changing the house system can move a planet near a cusp without changing its zodiac longitude. A rounded or incorrect clock time can change angles and houses more substantially.
Astrology is a symbolic interpretive practice rather than a scientific personality or forecasting method. Use each paragraph as a question that can be accepted, revised, or rejected against records, behavior, and present circumstances.
