Reading transit aspects
A transit aspect is the angular distance between a moving planet and a natal planet. The smaller the orb, the closer the angle is to exact. This table uses conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions only.
Method and limits
What counts as an aspect
The table includes conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions when the angle is within 3° of exact. It sorts the closest contacts first and shows the remaining orb. A small orb describes geometry; it does not measure the importance of a life event.
Why birthplace is absent
This comparison uses geocentric zodiac longitudes for planet-to-planet aspects. A birthplace is unnecessary for that calculation. It does not calculate natal or transit houses, Ascendant contacts, or local horizon angles, which would require more location data.
Reading a selected moment
The transit date and time are entered in UTC, while the recorded birth clock time is converted using the birth offset you supply. Try nearby moments to see fast bodies, especially the Moon, shift. The result is an astronomical comparison with no event prediction.
