What this table measures
For each pair of chart points, the calculator finds the center of the shorter zodiac arc. A second center sits exactly opposite it, so the pair also defines one axis modulo 180°. The table gives the short-arc center when unique, the 180° axis, and its positions after folding the circle to 90° and 45°. Select a pair to see its axis against the folded natal points.
Third-point contacts are measured on the 90° dial: the shortest distance after folding to 90° must be within the chosen orb. That convention groups conjunction, square and opposition relationships into one list. It does not say whether a contact is supportive, difficult, causal or predictive. A tighter orb makes the index more selective.
The Ascendant and Midheaven enter the table only when a recorded time and birthplace define them. A date-only birth can shift the Moon and all Moon-based pairs across the day. Compare the underlying birth record before treating a close contact as stable.
