Reach readers without interrupting their reading

This sample sponsorship page shows where relevant, clearly labeled advertising could appear on an independent astrology and reference website.

Planning mockup: No ad inventory is being sold through this page. Audience size, rates and booking details will be published only after they can be measured and fulfilled.

Two restrained placements

A page should answer the visitor’s question before it asks for attention. The proposed inventory uses an optional top reserve on editorial pages and a right-rail unit beside long reference articles. On narrow screens, the rail unit moves after the main article content. Calculators and their outputs stay legible.

Editorial reserve

Top of a reference page

A plainly marked display unit after navigation, with fixed dimensions to reduce layout movement. It would be excluded from tool input and result areas.

Beside an article

A sponsor unit separated from editorial links by a border and a visible “Advertisement” label; it moves below content on phones.

These boxes illustrate placement, not a traffic forecast or a guaranteed impression count. The current mockup contains no ad network script, tracking pixel or booking form.

Audience and fit

Readers arrive for sign guides, free calculators, tarot meanings and astrology reference. A useful sponsorship would help them find a relevant book, deck, course or cultural event, with the commercial relationship disclosed beside the link.

The site should not claim an audience segment, monthly reach or conversion rate until analytics confirm it. An eventual media kit can report verified sessions by page type, geography, device mix, viewability and click definitions with a date range.

Labeling and editorial standards

  • Every paid placement would carry the visible word “Advertisement” or “Sponsored.”
  • Sponsored copy would be separated from independent reviews and reference pages.
  • Affiliate links in book and deck guides would be disclosed near the link.
  • No advertiser would choose a horoscope prediction, calculation result, tarot meaning, or historical conclusion.
  • Popups would not block the page or hide the answer a reader came to find.

What to measure before selling

Start with organic landing pages and returning visits. Compare ad RPM and viewability by page type, then test whether a placement changes reading depth or return rate. Use disclosed affiliate clicks as a separate measure. Report purchased placements with dates and definitions; do not promise results before there is evidence.

The editorial newsletter is also a possible sponsor placement, but no mailing list exists in this mockup. A future signup would need a clear consent choice, unsubscribe path and sample issue before any sponsor is offered.
